Five years have passed since the horrible tragedy on 9/11. But to many, the memories are so vivid it feels like yesterday. We can never forget the senseless loss of so many innocent people and we will always remember the brave volunteers who risked their lives to save others and those who tried to recover injured victims.
Whether in the World Trade Centers, The Pentagon, the planes that never made it to their destination that day or those who died trying to save others, we must honor their memory by living our lives to the fullest and appreciating this great freedom we have. We are grateful to those who risked their lives and left their families with the duty of serving our country. May God bring them safely back home.
May God continue to give those who lost loved ones the strength to go on and feel hope and happiness.
May it help you to know that others are thinking of you still- hoping your pain has eased with time.
May God bless our great country, give wisdom to our leaders and help us to make the world a more peaceful place.
Let us all be aware of what is around us- never taking our safety, our freedom or our families and friends for granted.
